What Else Will You Need?
We need to know who you are! You’ll be asked to upload one form of government issued ID. This can be: a drivers license, passport, Social Security card or birth certificate.
(Accepted File Types: JPG, JPEG, PNG, GIF)
As part of your application, we’ll ask you to let us know about your previous education. We’ll also ask for verification, in the form of diplomas or transcripts.
This is the last thing needed to process your application! The fee is a one-time, non-refundable payment of Rs. 2500. This covers administrative expenses incurred in processing new student applications.
If you’re applying to attend a school in the US as a non-US Citizen, we’ll need the following:
- A copy of your valid passport from the country where you will be applying for the visa.
- Your official TOEFL score.
- A bank letter or financial statement indicating a balance of at least Rs 24 lakhs for Portfolio Programs.
You can find more details about these requirements in our application portal, or by speaking to an Admissions Advisor!

Got a Question?
We're Here to Help
You already know MAD is different. We’re casual, friendly, roll-up-the-sleeves and let-down-the-hair kind of people. And we like to get to know our students just the same as they get to know us.
If you’re wondering if the School of Ideas is right for you, here’s a thought: just reach out. You can have a chat with an advisor (no strings attached) who can help you figure out what’s next in your creative adventure. Maybe that means Art Direction at MAD. Maybe it’s ice fishing in Kathmandu. Your advisor can help you work it all out.
